Amelia Jane Hawkins

Born 23^th September 1896. Saint Mary's Newington. Mother was Amelia Allen. Father was John Hawkins. Married aged 29 to Sidney Charles Thorne, on the 19^th Dec 1925, at Southwark registry office.

They had six children... Stan, Joan, Sid, Bob, Les & Bill.

Amelia died 27^th March 1978, aged 81.

Born 1868, Lambeth Surrey. Mother was Jane Skevington. Father was Henry Thomas Hawkins. Married aged 24, to Amelia Allen, on the 16^th of April 1892, at St John's, Waterloo Rd. John worked as a Type founder.

Henry is shown in the 1881 census returns as a Boot Maker and his wife as a Boot Binder.
